At Home Scams The United States Postal Service and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service want you to know how to protect yourself from becoming a victim of "Work At Home" scams. Here are some tips in identifying a scam:
If you have questions regarding these scams or any other consumer fraud questions, please call your local U.S. Postal Inspector at: 1-800-846-4677. There is no substitute for closely examining any offer which promises or guarantees income from work-at-home programs. Check the company out through your local Better Business Bureau, states attorneys' office or local consumers group, and don't hesitate to discuss it with friends and family. *** |
